unnamed

I met you as just another person
realizing little what destiny had in mind.
You were to become a treasured friend
better than any I could ever find.

I have laughed with you,
And there are little secrets that I have shared.
I have adored you for your understanding,
every moment that we cared.

The time has come to drift apart,
to realize the long-sought dreams.
I may not see you often anymore,
and very far the distance may seem.

But this friendship is my commitment to you,
you may or may not realize now.
I'll be there for every small wish of yours,
I hope you would allow.

Dont go on this badly written poem,
it would be simpler to say-
You've made a difference to my life,
very special in your own way.
How wonderful it would be,
if I could ask you to stay.
But may God bless you forever,
for its you, for whom, I shall pray.

They say that friends leave a part of themselves in us. It is they who define the better parts of our personalities. For life is much like modeling clay, and every person that touches our lives, leaves an impression behind. No one ever remains exactly the same after meeting a person who comes close enough to have an impact. I think it's true..so very true. Some distort us but the ones who insculp us stronger are known as f r i e n d s.
