jab talak ummeed ho

I give it up here. I am saying good bye to urdu, ghazals and shayari on my blogs till I get my inspiration back. The inspiration which I had once found in a smile, in a gesture, in few words...the inspiration that broke my inhibitions and made me come up with incorrect yet innocent writings at times. It has been a mystery to me and I had relished the charisma of that unknown and hidden driving force. But I find it worthless from here on.

kiski saanson ki aanch, jala ke dil ko chali gayi
ye aahat dhadkanon ki, sata ke dil ko chali gayi..

chheen liya mujhse mai ko, tujhme tu na raha
vajood ko sifar, adhoora bana ke dil ko chali gayi..

aakhri ummeed-e-payaam tak tere muntazir baithe
teri khamoshi apne aaghosh me, duba ke dil ko chali gayi..

faaslon ke maare beemar-e-hijraan ko ab naa samjha
jab mauka tha, tab to keh ke alvida dil ko chali gayi..
