writing vs writing

Oh God, why did you make thesis option :)

I spent 1 hr writing one-and-a-half pages of my thesis; yes, this was my first day and you dont hav to laugh! I had resolved that I will not write any blog till I finish my thesis coz after all, thats writing too, so I wouldn't miss 'writing' overall. But oops, it wasn't really like that. I wouldn't be human if I enjoyed doing what is my duty and not a simple pleasure. So, here I am, returning to this soothing activity and tell myself that a break would do me good :D

Meanwhile I earthed out a good and useful Mac software called 'virtue desktops'. My windows were getting too cluttered with the latex files, various papers for the 'related work' section (actually I was copying lines from here and there ;)), iTunes and of course firefox. This prodded me to find the virtual desktop manager for my Mac Tiger. It's pretty good except that I can't figure out how to have a different wallpaper on every desktop. Anyways, I can explore that later. The crux is that it's free and it works. Besides, Apple is releasing Spaces, which will be the ultimate virtual desktop application and is going to be integrated in Leopard. So, I hope a free ver would be available for the old Tigers too :)

chalo, this is enough for a break. All I need now is a cup of strong coffee and back to my virtual desktop named code which is patiently holding all my thesis related files :(
