a gap in thinking

Often have I wondered is there any real clash of the genders, rather their pattern of thinking. The war might have been going on since ages between M and F. Each have had their share of victories and roughs. I dont believe in proving one better over the another but it calls for some amusing thoughts to analyze their approaches.

There's this guy whom I've often met at meals. Unless you go in groups, you are bound to keep talking during the one-to-one lunch/dinner. Since Mr. X is a slow eater, we have this more than little time to spend talking. Fortunately, he's more vocal in sharing his thoughts, so I dont have to do great efforts combating the silent pauses. But it's interesting to see his perceptions of F. I've observed 98% of guys to be having a 'different' view for girls. Jokes apart, there's that subtle high-headedness that I've seen in majority of guys. They might not be having a definite distinction leading to superiority/inferiority feeling but they do have some unspoken notions. I am not sure whether they realize it themselves or is it something more common in Asian societies where there does exist a considerable difference in social status(es) of the genders.

Googling for scientific facts, I read that M and F brains do differ more than insignificantly. The distribution along with proportions of gray and white matter is quite different. UC-Irvine prof claims that sexes differ in their thinking. However, I am yet to read what most of the M population keeps suggesting.
I think here we have a battle that shall continue till eternity without an answer...

P.S. I am a mere observer and hold nothing against my dear 'boy' friends. And Mr. X, you shall remain my object of observation at least till summer :)
