Sometimes in life, you need breaks. You just need time to slow down your pace, take a look at what's happening and try to see... Even if you do nothing, just seeing the mess you've created helps you to understand. Because at times, we move so fast that the feel of something missing or broken just doesnt sink in. You try to keep walking as you handle it all but after a point, its just no more feasible. You see that the pieces are falling apart and that is when you realize that there's something broken.
A saturation point has been reached, it doesnt matter whether one is going from light to dark or otherway round coz even when you come out into light after ages of darkness, you get dazzled and your eyes are hurt.
Life is not like movies unfortunately, where you could put your 'scenes' together and make the ending you wanted. Its a reality show (unlike the fake ones we have on TV). And you dont want to do the mistakes that can cost you your near and dear ones. 40 years later, when you look back at your life, you dont want to regret..you dont want to say why dint I see it..
Somewhere between our work, family, friends, relations, we keep juggling. The pieces keep increasing and you might just lose out the balance unless you keep a good control over the speed. A too-much or too-fast working brain can be a bigger problem than a non-functional one. It needs rest too and in fact to relax your brain is one of the most difficult things to do. Meditation is an art which, at least till now, I havent been able to do very skilfully.
I want to pause and realize coz the stakes are high this time. I shant be able to afford a mistake. And, my friend, a well-meant advice to you - live you life grandly and take out 5 min to just see where are you going...
yours,
well-wisher

I completely agree with these thoughts but I kind of disagree with the line "A saturation point has been reached, it doesnt matter whether one is going from light to dark or otherway round coz even when you come out into light after ages of darkness, you get dazzled and your eyes are hurt."
Most of us tend to feel the hurt in the eyes, but a very few realize the value of that light. The ones who realize that value, are the ones who conquer the world!
